Paracletos (par-ak'-lay-tos) Greek meaning:

     

            1. Summoned, called to one's side, or called to one's aid

                      a. One who pleads another's cause before a judge, a pleader counsel

                           for defense, legal assistant, and advocate

                      b. One who pleads another's cause with one, an intercessor

​

"And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper,

that He may abide with you forever- the Spirit of truth

whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him

nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you

and will be in you." John 14:16-17

The Rescue

3-5 All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us.
